On-the-go snack mix

For active kids who are constantly on-the-go, this snack mix is perfect. It only takes 5 minutes to put together, but will keep your kids happy, healthy, and full!

Total time: 5 minutes
Makes: 3-4 ½-cup servings
Good for: a snack


  • 1 cup whole grain cereal (square- or O-shapes work best)
  • ¼ cup dried fruit of your choice
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, pecans, pistachios)
  • ¼ cup small, whole-grain pretzels or snack crackers
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon


  1. Measure out ingredients
  2. Combine in large bowl
  3. Divide portions into Tupperware or Ziploc bags
